Our mission is to cultivate skillful analysis, effective communication, and creative expression through teaching, research, and service. Our flexible, skills-based curriculum provides undergraduate students the tools necessary to succeed in 21st-century academic and professional careers. Diverse courses in literature, academic and professional writing, creative writing, and film challenge students to examine the human condition in all its forms as they reflect on their own intellectual, spiritual, ethical, and social development as “men and women for others.”
